West Street is Drogheda's main thoroughfare, running from the Bullring down towards the River Boyne and lined with shops, pubs and cafés. Drogheda railway station
Drogheda sits on the Dublin–Belfast line, with regular services to both cities as well as connections towards Sligo. It's a common pickup point for anyone arriving by train who'd rather not wait around for a connecting bus into town.
Laurence’s Gate & the town walls
Laurence's Gate is one of the best-preserved medieval town gates in Ireland, a striking leftover of the walls that once ringed Drogheda. It sits right on the edge of the town centre on Laurence Street, making it an easy, memorable landmark to describe over the phone.
